What is a branch of NBAA?
A branch of NBAA is synonymous with a member of NBAA. NBAA members
each take vows to become Buddhas and lead all others to Buddhahood.
They are leaders of Buddhism, every one of them. They each take
action in their own ways to fulfill their vows. To further support
that effort, NBAA has chosen to formulate a structure designed to
support their efforts.
The branch is designed to be an independent organization that operates
on its own. Ideally, a branch would be made up of one to three NBAA
members and possibly several new Buddhists or Buddhists of other
organizations who have not joined NBAA. The important thing isn't
the numbers, but the sense of responsibility felt by the NBAA member
for the enlightenment of all others around them, and the actions
taken that are motivated by that feeling.
